I officially have a ride home for Thanksgiving. Benapos;s parents are driving all of us on the team from Minnesota home, and my parents are bringing everyone back. Iapos;m kind of not looking forward to that because, well, you all know my parents. Theyapos;re so embarassing, and they know it. Practice this morning was so hard. During dryland which we did with the guys, there was one more girl in our group then there was guys, so we had an uneven number. So I was going to have to work with this like 6 foot 5, really muscular huge guy. We were doing medicine ball stuff, and I was like hell no,m this ainapos;t going to work, heapos;s going to kill me. So Greg worked with that guy and I ended up with Ben as my parent. Which was good, because heapos;s not as strong as that other guy, and I didnapos;t die. Just almost, because I had to use one of the big medicine balls and I could barely throw it. It was really embarassing, and now my arms really hurt. Ug....

Okay, not a whole lot of organising going on. Iapos;m beat. I canapos;t sleep, but the magical mystery tour Iapos;ve been on for the last six months - SIX MONTHS - has left me too exhausted to think very clearly. I donapos;t feel like myself at all, right now. Everything is so strange, and nothing makes sense, and Iapos;m surrounded by people who think that everythingapos;s normal and sense-making.

This is like the mirror universe of bad old Missing Mile, NC, but itapos;s oddly familiar for all that. Maybe thatapos;s what got my hackles up - Iapos;m usually so polite to people, but then again, people arenapos;t usually such assholes.

When I wake up, Iapos;ll have to try to make it up to people. Hopefully I can get a second chance to make a first impression. None of them asked for this either, and weapos;re all in it together. This week has been pure hell for me. I had three tests, one on monday, wednesday, and friday, at least two quizzes, and a lab write up all in this week. Definitely the worst week here Iapos;ve ever had. Iapos;m scared to find out what finals week will be like.


October has not been a good month for me. Beds, courts, exams... I havenapos;t drank on a wednesday in the past two weeks which is so unlike me... I used to drink every wednesday... Iapos;m glad to see iapos;m maturing though and trying to put my studies first.

itapos;s 3:22 and i have class in 5.5 hours. I would have skipped my first class if my professor wasnapos;t such a tool and actually takes attendance. I seriously learn everything myself since iapos;ve taken calc twice before...

Iapos;m back home for this short fall break I brought Emma with me so she can enjoy the sights (which are definitely different from Waco). The only sad thing...I got my first speeding ticket. I canapos;t believe it I already had that minor car accident a couple of weeks ago, just got that settled with insurance, and now I have a speeding ticket to take care of. Defensive driving or what not needs to be fulfilled. But seriously...why did this have to happen?

Clearly, October isnapos;t a good month for me. Iapos;m looking forward to November because itapos;ll be a fresh start. In the meantime, Iapos;ve got to get past the disappointment and look forward to tomorrow. Actually, Iapos;m still worried about how I did on the physics test that I took yesterday. I had my Social World midterm today but it wasnapos;t as bad as I thought it would be. Hopefully my assumptions proves right.

Well, I still need to wash my face so Iapos;ll come back and write more later.
